Skip is the owner a very pleasant owner I must say. The food is very good. They have all different types of food here. They cook fresh so keep in mind if you go through the drive through it will be a wait. They also have a window you can walk up to and order to sit outside at the tables. If you don't mind waiting go through the drive through it's worth the wait. You can also place an order for pick up which is more convenient if you're like me . I order the fried gizzards hard which are always cooked exactly how I asked. This time I tried the Jalliop Rice with beef and vegetables. It just needed a little more seasoning but the beef and neck bones were delicious.

Skipper's rocks. Great chili dogs and chili cheeseburgers. It is only a take away spot. Suggest trying their shakes also!

Greensboro Native-right up the street from A&T University. Local mom and pop restaurant that doesn't disappoint. There's usually a line but it's worth the wait. I went and got the $1 beef hotdogs and they were great, reminded me of going to our local hotdog carts back home. Will definitely visit again. The Koolaid is amazing and sweet just like you'd make at home. They also have fish, chicken, and bbq.

Y'all if you haven't tried Skipper's you missing out. The hot dogs are delicious and they have good prices. They even have kool-aid on the menu! Stop by and check them out. You won't be disappointed.

This spot is famous for their hotdogs. It is located right up the street from NC A&T. They had closed down for some months, I thought due to COVID 19, but they said because they were making upgrades and repairs. I can't vouch for that because it still looks the same to me. I digress! I recently tried the Liberian item called Rice and Greens and was NOT a fan. I didn't see any greens at all. It was some dark liquid, I assume meat was in it, but smelled a little off. So, I did not even touch it. Now, my favorites are the okra and fruit punch Kool-Aid! The okra is a very small portion for the amount you pay (stick with Church's Chicken, if you want quantity). That Kool-Aid is knock your socks off sweet, but dammittt, it's addicting! I usually take it home, put it in the freezer, then take out the next morning when I wake up for it to start to thaw, and take to work for a pick me up! I drink on it all day as it thaws. You know, old school slushy from the Candy Lady in the neighborhood. I am not a fan of the hotdogs, but that's just me. The hotdogs are $1 on Mondays and they sell a heap of them on Mondays. They have $1 Burger days too. I just don't remember which day, at the moment. Go get you a hotdog, burger, fries, okra, milkshake, or Kool-Aid and tell me what you think!

I thank my daughter for this one. We were on the way home from Raleigh when the hunger hit. After a quick search on Yelp, we locked into the hotdog option. We considered the Burlington area until she found Skippers, Greensboro it was. Skippers is a little mom and pop with hotdogs, chicken and more. We ordered the German, an all the way, chili and a smoked sausage. They come wrapped in wax paper, all beef and are steaming hot. Knowing that we could not chance eating them in my wife's new car made it the longest ride ever. The aroma was torture. Once home it was chow time. The dogs were still hot, full of flavor and left me wanting more. Stop in and support a local business, you won't be disappointed.
